Your mind fully controls your body’s capacity to self-heal. During a marathon, when you feel like your body can’t take another kilometre, you can use your mind to control this thought and pull through.

The self-healing process begins in your mind.

If you’re not feeling your best right now, then follow these steps to heal your body and relax your nervous system.

1. Believe in the Power of Healing

Your body’s self-healing mechanisms are influenced by your thoughts and feelings.

The mind can heal any disease as long as you believe it’s possible. If something crosses your mind as incurable, then the symptoms will not go away.

Believe you can be healed and your body’s self-healing mechanisms will do their job.

2. Find Support

If you’re new to this, then you may need some guidance at first, a healer who will help you in this process.

3. Listen to Your Body

Try to understand what your body wants to communicate. Doctors know all about anatomy, but they can’t directly feel exactly what your body is trying to tell you.

Talk to your body, ask questions about the pain it’s causing.

Then, you just need to listen. An inner voice will guide you towards the answer and you will know what to do in the self-healing process.

4. Find the Root Cause

The doctor may give you a diagnosis for your illness, but they can’t always tell you what the root of the problem was. This triggered stress responses and stopped your body’s self-healing mechanisms from working properly.

Illness is an alarm you need to take very seriously. It’s your body’s way of saying you need to eliminate everything which is causing stress in your life and allow your body to self-heal.

Here’s what I advise you to do to identify the root cause:

  • Define your problem and your symptoms.
  • Figure out for how long you’ve been having this problem.
  • Identify which factors have contributed to this problem.
  • Dig deeper and be honest and true to yourself when it comes to figuring out the root cause.

5. Come up with a Healing Plan

The plan should aim for a full recovery, so that you can reach the optimal level of health once again.

Think of this plan as a prescription which does not contain medicine. It should answer the question: what prevents me from healing?

Be very specific. It can be anything from:

  • Being in a toxic relationship
  • Eating unhealthy food
  • Not meditating
  • Not spending more time in nature
  • Not following your true passion.

6. Trust the Universe

The force of the Universe is the most powerful force there is.

After you’ve done everything in your power to start the self-healing process, take a deep breath and trust everything you’re doing.

As long as you will be surrendered by health and positive energy flows on every level, you will witness a spiritual awakening.

You are an amazing human being who can be capable of anything. We are all invincible if we eliminate illness and allow our bodies to self-heal.

The mind is a powerful tool and we must use it first to better ourselves before doing anything else for the world.
