Mark Twain said something that will make you reflect on life:

The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.

Purpose gives us meaning and fuel. But most importantly, it helps us live life to its fullest potential.

But if you’re not pursuing your true purpose, then you’re most likely afraid. Also, there are certain barriers in your mind that are telling you not to do it.

In this post, I want to tackle some of the most common fears that are holding you back.

1. Fear of Failure

Most people live their life being too precautious about everything because they’re afraid of failure.

Yes, failing doesn’t feel good at all, but it’s the only way you’re going to grow, learn and be able to pursue your true purpose.

Actually, the real failure is not having the courage to follow your true path and not being able to get back up every time we fail.

2. Fear of Being Selfish

The problem with this fear is that you can’t live other people’s lives – nor can you sacrifice for others. You were all destined to do great things in this world and you can achieve this only by pursuing your true purpose.

3. Fear of Doubt

It’s normal to doubt yourself or question whether you’re doing what you’re supposed to. But you’ll always find the answer in your heart.

You are the only one who knows your true purpose and the only one who can eliminate the doubt from your mind.

Because you’re a star seed, you already know why you’re on this planet, so ask yourself what you want to share with the world; what keeps you up at night.

Your life’s purpose is more of an expression than an accomplishment. So don’t doubt yourself if you’re doing something that has meaning to you.

4. Fear of Not Being Worthy

Some people grow up thinking that they don’t deserve this or that because it’s something they’ve been hearing constantly from others while growing up.

But, sometimes, we may think the same thing to ourselves even though we didn’t grow up in a toxic environment.

We beat ourselves down and repeat to ourselves that we don’t deserve to live like this, or that we shouldn’t be doing it. This inner negative voice needs to be shut down. Instead, you should all listen to your intuition – that part of you that tells you to pursue your true purpose.

5. Fear of Disappointing People

It’s absolutely normal to feel like you’re disappointing your parents or your friends, especially when you choose a path that they don’t agree with.

But at the same time, you should not let this fear stop you from pursuing your true purpose because, in the end, they will understand and accept you for who you are and who you are destined to become.

One of the biggest regrets people have at the end of their life on earth is that they didn’t follow their hearts. So don’t be one of them and follow your true purpose.

Start Pursuing Your True Purpose Now

Next time you’ll start doubting yourself and fear that what you’re doing is not right, read this article to refresh your memory and remember that purpose gives us meaning, and without meaning, the life we’ve living is pointless.

Following your true purpose is a journey, so you need to take it little by little every single day.

I love you with my heart, with my soul, with every fibre of my entire being. Together we can make this world a much more harmonious place.
