You all have an inherent healing capacity. You can enhance it in any environment you’d like, whether it’s at the workplace, or at home.

But for it to work to its full potential, you need the ideal environment.

A healing environment is a term used to describe precise factors which contribute and positively affect a person’s physical and psychological state.

Even in the absence of modern medicine, the ancient Greeks used nature, music and art to promote healing.

Don’t Mistake Permanent Relief with Healing

Healing can occur in the absence of permanent relief and vice-versa. They can happen simultaneously as well.

A person which experiences permanent relief means that they no longer have that certain disease. Yet, they may continue to feel distressed or sad.

At the same time, someone who has been healed, but does not feel this permanent relief, will feel a sense of peace and wholeness.

Now, you can make a change and create the optimal healing environment which will help you pursue a vibrant, meaningful life.

I will tell you the main elements you need to follow to make this happen.

1. Internal

The internal environment refers to your mind, emotions, intentions.

Healing occurs only when the mind, body and spirit are in balance. And so, any weakness in any of these areas will negatively affect the other.

Here, you should start by developing the healing intention and follow these three steps:

  • Become aware of your body’s subtle signals. It can be a change in the energy level or a pain;
  • Connect to your inner, deeper self. You can meditate or sit quietly in order to bring the feeling of peace into your life;
  • Reflect on life. Reflect on your experiences, on your past, on your life’s purpose. It will help you find meaning and answers to some important questions.

The energy system of your body is connected to our internal organs. We need to prevent energy blocks from occurring by clearing them through healing sessions.

2. Interpersonal

Our friends, family, co-workers or neighbours can either support you or add unwanted stress in your life.

That’s why it’s so important to benefit from every relationship you have, no matter its nature.

A healing relationship has trust, honesty and compassion. If your relationships lack at least one of these elements, you may want to reconsider them.

Those people will not contribute to a healing environment.

Honest and open communication represent the foundation of strong relationships.

3. Behavioural

This element refers to the actions we take in order to prevent illness and improve our well-being, so that the healing process can occur.

Here you need to take a closer look at your lifestyle and make the necessary changes in order to live a healthy life.

We may all have unhealthy habits, but it’s important to acknowledge them and find the balance and not let them become addictions.

Preemptive healing plays an important part in this scenario, because it will help us establish a better connection between our body and mind.

4. External

The external environment plays a huge role in the healing process. Sadly, most people don’t realise the extent at which it can impact their lives.

Once in a while, you should evaluate your surroundings and analyse what’s outside, and not just inside you.

The location where you spend most of your day shouldn’t add unnecessary stress to your life.

Try as much as you can to surround yourself with nature, decorate by using meaningful objects, and declutter the space.

Create Your Own Healing Environment

Everyone can feel at peace as long they know how to stimulate a healing environment. I truly hope that you will take some time and reflect upon these four elements and that you will be able to change your life for the better.

I love you with my heart, with my soul, with every fibre of my entire being. Together we can make this world a much more harmonious place.
